Eating healthy doesn’t have to cost a lot of money!
Here are a few tips to help you start making healthier food choices:
- Switch to fat-free or low-fat (1%) milk. It’s healthier and less expensive!
- Don’t be afraid to buy frozen or canned vegetables. They are just as healthy, and can be bought in bulk on sale, and stored.
- Drink mostly water. Tap water is free! Buy reusable bottles that you and your family can refill through the day.

The best way to start being more active is one step at a time!
Whether you take a short walk during your lunch break, walk to a co-worker’s desk instead of emailing, or do stretches while you watch TV, every little bit helps improve your health!
